What is a Nursing Necklace

At some point your baby`s appetite for learning can sometimes interfere with nursing,when her biting, pulling and pinching become part of the routine, a good way to distract him/her is to offer a nursing necklace, you can wear them or just let baby finger them, its nice to have a few so you can rotate and keep things new.

Babies use their mouths to explore the world and I have designed my necklaces with that in mind. All of my necklaces offer the opportunity for learning color identification, animal recognition and counting.

All of my necklaces are made of 100% 50# tested weight hemp cord that is very strong and all beads are non toxic plastic. My necklaces have a special safety bead/clasp, called a break away bead that comes apart when tugged upon to minimize problems. Nylon cord is available for older children but not recommended for anyone under three, it stretches, so no safety clasp is used with this. All necklaces are approx 32 inches long unless otherwise is specified.
